Remark: Ca 270,000 of higher green plants, excluding green algae, are described for the Earth flora. According to Gagnidze's "Vascular Plants of Georgia", the country has 6,350 vascular plants, or about 2.3% of the world flora. Narrow-ranged species, Caucasian regional endemics represent between 20 and 30% of this number, according to different taxonomies.
